The Inn is located at the southern edge of Sugar Hill, a historical sub-neighborhood of Harlem, where wealthy African-Americans settled as of the 1920’s. Duke Ellington decided to "Take the A train" and became one Sugar Hill’s most famous residents.
The accommodations at the Inn include a two-bedroom suite apartment, two studios as well as two rooms; all are named after the renowned African-American artists connected to the neighborhood.
The decoration of the rooms reflects their personalities and characters. The suite apartment and the studios have kitchens. Every room has its private bathroom, cable TV, DVD, A/C, iron and ironing board. Breakfast is not included.
Sugar Hill Harlem Inn is located near the CUNY City College campus and Saint Nicholas Park. Two subway stations are within a five minutes walking distance, giving you the choice of a total of five different lines (1, A,B,C,D) to easily reach New York City’s main tourist attractions.
