The American Triangle in 5-Day
1st Day: New York – Finger Lakes – Niagara Falls.
In the morning you will depart from the Big Apple heading north on your way to Buffalo you will pass the beautiful
Delaware Gap to Watkins Glen State Park in the heart of the
Finger Lakes region. Here you will stop for a walk through
Watkins Glen Canyon and visit the stunning waterfalls
, after the sightseeing you will continue towards
Seneca Lake to reach Niagara Falls in the late afternoon. Once arrived at Niagara Falls you will visit the American Side of the Falls including
Goat Island and Sister Island and at night you will tour the falls to appreciate the colorful lighting of the waters. You will spend the night at the: Ramada by Wyndham
2nd Day: Niagara Falls – Toronto – 1000 Islands.
Leaving the hotel in the morning you will have a chance to explore the falls up-close from the
Horse Shoe Falls and you will then hop onboard the historic vessel Maid of the Mist (May-October) for a scenic cruise where you will be able to almost “touch” the falls. In the winter (November to April) you will instead tour
the Scenic Tunnels, a journey behind the fall
s, where you have great photo opportunities. At noon you will reach the picturesque village of Niagara on the Lake (May to October) and then you will proceed toward
Toronto, the largest city in the biggest country in the world! You will visit the
HTO Park, Brookfield Place, home of the Hockey Hall of Fame, City Hall, and Distillery Historic District, in the evening you will leave Toronto driving along the famous
Lake Ontario to reach
1000 Islands. You will spend the night at Gananoque – Comfort Inn & Suites (April Niagara Falls - Ramada by Wyndham)
3rd Day: 1000 Islands – New Jersey.
You will start the day with a cruise through the 1000 Islands along the St. Laurence River famous for the beautiful mansions and amazing gardens. (May to October) [If the trip is performed in April, you will visit instead of he famous Welland Canal Locks, to see how huge ships are moved up and down the Niagara escarpment and you will stop for lunch in the unique village Niagara on the Lake]. In the early afternoon you will head towards New Jersey and on the way, you will stop for a shopping spree at one of the largest outlet malls along the way, find your own bargain! Early evening arrival in New Jersey. You will spend the night at the: La Quinta Inn & Suites.
4th Day: New Jersey – Philadelphia – Lancaster Country - Washington Dc.
In the morning you will leave New Jersey and head south to reach Philadelphia. Upon arrival, you will embark on a panoramic tour that includes: Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Elfert Alley, the oldest inhabited street in America, and much more. You will arrive at the famous and historic Constitution Square where you will visit some of the oldest monuments in America including Constitution Hall and the famous Liberty Bell. Leaving Philadelphia you will pass by the famous “Rocky Steps”, the 72 stone steps before the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You will leave Philadelphia and proceed towards Lancaster County home of the Amish people. You will start with a ride on an authentic Amish Buggy (the traditional Amish carriage) through the Amish farm country, and learn how this community still leaves without the use of modern technology such as electricity, running water, telephone service or general appliances. After the ride, you will visit the characteristic Amish marketplace where you can find extraordinary handmade arts crafts and typical products. You will pass through the states of Delaware and Maryland on your way to Washington DC. Overnight: Crowne Plaza, Dulles International Airport.
5th Day: Washington DC – New York.
In the morning you will start with a visit to the Memorial dedicated to
Thomas Jefferson, the area is known as the Tidal Basin, if you have the good fortune to do this tour during the spring you will be enchanted by cherry trees that surrounds it. This time of year Washington has a popular National Cherry Blossom Festival, next you will visit the famous
Arlington National Cemetery to assist at the changing of the guards and visit the Kennedy family gravesite. You will proceed towards to see
Capitol Hill, the White House, the Mall, where all major museums are located, and where you will stop for a visit to the Air and Space Museum, you will then proceed towards the national monuments park and you will visit some of the most important memorials including
the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial,
Martin Luther King, Korean War Memorial and
Vietnam Memorial. Late afternoon departure to New York for an early evening arrival.
