Let's Say GOODBYE to 2020 in Times Square
By Irene T. from NYC
I went to
say goodbye to 2020 which will officially be behind us in just a few days ... In Times Square, the
latest installation is brought to us by
Planet Fitness (the famous gym company) and sponsor yet again for another year of New Year's Eve Celebrations in NYC -- even if virtual. Millions of people from all over the world will tune in to
watch the Ball Drop and be greeted by a wave of purple & yellow confetti and banners all around Times Square for the iconic
"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin 'Eve" presented by Ryan Seacrest starting 8 pm (NY Time.)
To get all the
latest information on where to follow the Live Show and the midnight countdown with the famous Times Square Ball Drop --

Our Most-Watched Video in 2020
I almost didn't want to believe it ... did I see it right?
Over 3,000,000 VIEWS and over 299K LIKES ... my "Good Night New York" video of the first snowfall in NYC
went VIRAL on Instagram ... WOW!!!!!
It may well be the place - Times Square so loved all over the world, or the song - the iconic "Empire State" by the talented Alicia Keys, or maybe the first snow that makes everybody dream -- still, this video on Instagram (in REEL format) was my first video to go Viral.
Thank you all for your comments and shares!
What we hope for in 2021
With a difficult year near its end, safe to say all of us have a strong desire to return to our old lives and some "normality" ... So,
our wishes for this new year are --
- To meet and socialize with people anywhere in the world and forget about the 6 feet!
- To go back to work ... at least for me! ;-) LOL
- To return to greet friends and MANY CUSTOMERS in person here in New York City.
- To return to the theaters, movie theaters, concert halls, museums, restaurants - both outdoors and indoors - and more.
- To pack our bags for a new adventure -- no matter where! As long as we can travel again.
And
I'll be waiting for you here in New York City if your next trip takes you to the Big Apple.
I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY, HEALTHY AND SUCCESSFUL 2021!
