It's Christmas Time in the City ... One of the most wonderful time of the year to come visit the Big Apple.
Many of you might be visiting New York for the first time during the Holiday Season, so I wanted to list here my favorite things to do during the festivities to fully experience the Christmas Spirit in New York City!
Top-3 Christmas Trees in New York City
The Rockefeller Christmas Tree, how can the popular tree not be at our #1 spot??? Possibly the most famous & most visited Christmas Tree in the World. The Tree is lit every day from 6 AM to 12 AM until January 2020. Note that the Tree attracts huge crowds, so try to go off-hours (early morning and late nights) the worst time when it comes to crowds is between 5:30 pm and 10:00 pm especially on weekends.
Bryant Park Christmas Tree, the iconic tree by the Ice-skating Rink. You can spend a few hours there sipping on a cup of Hot Cider or Hot Cocoa ... Plus, have fun shopping around the Winter Village with hundreds of Shops.
The Wall Street Christmas Tree, right by the NY Stock Exchange is one of the most historic Christmas Trees in NYC. Although it might not be as popular as the other 2 trees, it does have a special backdrop with the NYSE illuminated by the red-green light ... It's all so very Christmassy! Also, it's a great spot to start an historic walking tour to discover the origin of NYC!

Top-3 Rooftops great during the Holidays
230 5th Avenue. The Original Rooftop that made the heated Igloos famous ... Grab one of the red blankets or robes, order yourself a Hot Toddy or Spiced Cider and enjoy the magnificent view over the Empire State Building! (230 5th Ave, New York, NY 10001)
Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge, a very fun and eclectic rooftop in the middle of Midtown that also offers special themed-drinks for the Holidays. (485 7th Ave 18th floor, New York, NY 10018)
The ONE Rooftop in Dumbo Brooklynfor incredible views over the Downtown Skyline especially the ONE WTC Tower and the Brooklyn Bridge. Don't be afraid to leave Manhattan behind ... Top of The Rock Observatory. Make sure to go up to the 70th Floor (especially at sunset) to catch some incredible views over the NYC Skyline. (30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112)
Ice-Skating Rinks - You have plenty of options when it comes to ice-skating in the city ... Choose from Central Park, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center and Pier 17!
The MoMa Museum. The Museum just reopened in time for the Holiday Season ... Go check-out some of the most important art-works that New York has to offer in the newly renovated space. (11 W 53rd St, New York, NY 10019)

Rolf's German Restaurant .... Possibly the most heavily decorated restaurant in the city! It's really hard to find a table or get in. You might have to wait in line for quite sometimes, but once you are in, let the magic of Christmas surround you. (281 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10010)
Pete's Tavern, one of the oldest taverns in the city in the popular neighborhood of Gramercy ... The Tavern has hundreds of red lights on the ceiling and Christmas ornaments all around. The good thing is that you can make a reservation on Yelp. (129 E 18th St, New York, NY 10003)
SERRA ALPINA by Birreria is all ready for Christmas with incredible decorations located on the rooftop of Eataly by The Flatiron Building. Grab a glass of Italian Wine and savor some yummy dishes while surrounded by "snow and alpine trees". (200 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010)

Top-3 Musicals on Broadway and Shows
The Rockettes ... I know it's not on Broadway, but how could you say NO to the famous Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular? If you truly want to experience the Holiday Spirit, make sure to catch the incredible Rockettes and Santa Claus.
Frozen ... The Musical based on the iconic 3D computer-animated musical fantasy, plus with the release of Frozen 2 now in theater, it's the perfect time to go to Broadway and check it out!
The Lion King because it's possibly the most-watched musical on Broadway, and we can never get tired of that. You will see some of the best costumes during this musical.
