Columbus Day, the national holiday to celebrate Italian Heritage and it has been observed on the second Monday of every October for more than 80 years, ever since President Roosevelt made it a national holiday.

New York City as always celebrated the Italian Heritage Day with a parade along 5th Avenue.
Parade Route: From 47th to 72nd Street along 5th Avenue.
Parade Time: From 11:30 am to 3:00 pm
