Checking out the first Holiday Windows in New York City
Macy's unveiled their beautiful windows for the 2022 Holiday Season. A spokesperson for Macy's announced this year's theme as a theme of "festive nostalgia & togetherness" and so New Yorkers and Visitors alike are invited to stop by the Flagship Store in Herald Square and follow the beloved reindeer Tiptoe along her journey “as she visits her woodland friends to spread holiday magic and cheer.”
To make this year's displays even more special is the material(s) that were used to craft the beautiful displays – they are all made with core materials such as gingerbread, yarn, flannel, paper, wood, and mirror!
WHEN TO GO – We recommend going after sunset, so you can really enjoy the sparkle of the Twinkle Lights.
And if you are in a Holiday-spirit & are up for some shopping, you have to go to the 9th Floor and check out the Macy's Holiday Lane for the most extravagant Christmas Ornaments ever!
WANT TO SAVE? Don't forget to stop by the Visitor Center and show your Domestic or International ID (you must be visiting NYC) to get a special 10%-off Visitors Shopping Pass. Just ask one of the specialists at the Kiosk located on the 2nd Floor (It's more like a Mezzanine) past Starbucks. (Acceptable form of IDs – driver's license or passport.)
