How to Celebrate Christmas 2020 in NYC
New York City has entered its traditional
Christmas Mode -- everything is ready for us to celebrate the magic of the Holidays. Despite this Christmas 2020 going down in history as the Christmas of the pandemic, it will
still be celebrated and honored by New Yorkers the best we can and as safely as we can.
The City of New York started turning on its "Christmas Lights"
decorating streets and store windows around mid to late November, and of course, the big event was the lighting of the
Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree that along with the famous
Saks Fifth Avenue Window Show and
Macy's Holiday Windows complete the 3 most popular Christmas events in NYC. This years lots of these Christmas installations are dedicated to honoring all those that worked hard, and still do, this unprecedented year -- the city of NY, healthcare workers, essential personnel, and all those who have been touched by this pandemic.
From Rockefeller Center to Radio City
So how to experience the magic of
Christmas in New York this year?
Our Irene wanted to
give us some ideas on what we can still do in the city or outside Manhattan ... and for those that are not in New York -- many photos and videos to make you dream!
