Sounds unbelievable if you ask me, but we are already halfway through our Summer ... But even though the 4th of July has come and gone pretty quickly, the city is still offering a plethora of free and paid events throughout July and August.
Are you planning a visit in the next 2 months?
Let's see what are some fun Concerts and Events in the Big Apple that you might want to put on your calendar today!
A Hot Place to Visit for Events -- Pier17 & South Street Seaport
It was only last year when the new Pier opened to the public after being shut-down for a complete 5-year-long re-construction due to the damages caused by Hurricane Sandy.
Here, you now have many new eateries and bars including the incredible Rooftop Lounge. They all offer amazing views over the Brooklyn Bridge and the Iconic Skyline of FiDi (aka Financial Districts) which makes Pier17 a prime location for your summer evenings.
What you might not know is that the Pier 17 Rooftop is also home to amazing concerts (paid events) and movies under the stars series (free events)
Some Big Names include --
Sheryl Crow - July 28th
Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band - August 18th
Janelle Monáe - September 25th
See Concert Lineup here: https://www.pier17ny.com/concerts.html
