Wicked - Musical on Broadway based on the imaginative Gregory Maguire novel, Wicked takes a fantasy journey through the unseen side of The Wizard of Oz’s, sharing a tale of unexpected friendship and love and spotlighting the untold stories of Oz’s most famous (or infamous) characters, namely the Wicked Witch of the West and her unlikely friend, Glinda the Good.Paying homage to the classic Wizard of Oz story while simultaneously changing fans’ understanding of it forever, Wicked effortlessly reveals that there are indeed two sides to every story.
The show follows green-skinned star Elphaba, her spoiled friend Glinda, the local heartthrob Fiyero and even the Wizard of Oz himself, very differently portrayed, in their journey to fight injustice and undo mistakes of the past.
